If I cannot get Counter Strike to work then maybe not. I hear WoW is pretty popular.

Oh yeah...over 4 million subscribers can't be wrong!! lol

You gotta like the RPG style gameplay though. It's my favorite type of game so therefore I'm throughly hooked.

Too geeky? hehe I played Star Wars Galaxies for 2 years prior to starting WoW...how's that for geeky?

I heard that Stars Galaxies was pretty good though...

I don't know...I've only played counterstrike for the last 5 years...but I hear all about all the other games because of my husband and my CS friends that I chat with online. I did play this one game called Gunbound for awhile too...so fun with the cartoon people and the bots.

Oh and I tried playing NS(Natural Selection) which is a mod for CS, but I could not get into it. I didn't even try to play WoW cause it looks like a time sucking abyss...and just not into the rpg thing...

Yeah SWG was pretty awesome...but then SOE screwed it up big time and now it's a piece of total crap....in my opinion...lol.

Yes WoW does suck every waking hour of your life away...but we allow it to happen. And yeah RPG's are my main thing. I only play CS and Call of Duty and some Battlefield when our friends have LAN parties. I generally suck at those games.

I'm also a D&D nerd so RPG's are all I really play...and the Sims... too bad the D&D Online game costs money to play or I'd play it too...but I really can only justify playing 1 subscription game at a time since we have to each have an account and stuff.

Offline I'm working on Warcraft 3, Baldur's Gate 2 Throne of Bhaal expansion and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2. :)

Yeah...I never used to be such a shopper...los was the one always spending $$$. We switched roles somehow in the last year or two...

I've beta tested every major MMORPG that's come out in the last few years except WOW. (Neocron, Anarchy Online, Eve Online, Earth and Beyond, Star Wars Galaxies, a bunch of Korean ones. I know there's more)

I stick with FPS for 2 reasons:
1) I can go in and play for a few maps and then leave if I want to.
2) I don't do mobile homes. What do mobile homes have to do with MMOs? Well just like a mobile home, even after you buy it, you still have to pay rent.

Plus I rock at FPS games (been gaming online since the first Quake).
