Prosper, Texas (December 4, 2007) -- The Town of Prosper would like to remind festival-goers of the parking arrangements for the Prosper Country Christmas festival.

Due to the large number of vendors at this year’s event, there will not be any parking available in the downtown Prosper area. Event parking will be available at Prosper High School, 300 Eagle Lane. The Town has contracted four school buses to run continuous shuttle routes between the High School and the festival.

The shuttle buses will pick up passengers in the large lot behind the school. This lot can be entered directly from Church Street. You can also enter the school on Eagle Lane and drive behind the school to the parking lot. You may park in the lots in front of the school, but you will have to walk to the back of the school to locate the shuttle buses. The first shuttle departure is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. The shuttle will drop riders off at the corner of Coleman Road and Broadway Street, at the side parking lot of Maggie’s.
